BodyJam
The cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of Hip-Hop, Old Skool Hip-Hop, Latin Salsa, Jazz, Street Jazz, Swing, Techno, Mambo, Cardio Funk, House, Tribal & Contemporary Rock dance moves – put the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat. Prepare to burn calories, increase your fitness level – and learn to dance better! Dance is also great for improving coordination. Funky instructors teach you to move with attitude through this 55-minute class. So grab a friend, get front and center and get hooked on dance and the emotional high that comes from this unique form of self-expression.
Check the schedule for the FIVE BodyJam Teasers in October. These teasers allow everyone to come try the class and see how much FUN it can be to sweat! Teasers are also FREE FOR EVERYONE! Members or not, grab a friend, show up and be ready to kick it. You’ll learn a few dance techniques first, but be ready, because you’ll end the class with a few routines from an actual BodyJam class.
Also, notice that on Friday, October 30th we have a costume fitness party planned. Come dressed as your favorite fitness guru (i.e. Richard Simmons, Tony Little, Johnny G, Jane Fonda, etc.) or dress up in your favorite dance era attire (i.e. Disco, Swing, Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, etc.) and have a blast Spinning at 5:30pm and BodyJamming at 6:30pm! Prizes will be given to best dressed, most creative and others.
And don’t forget the Les Mills Quarterly Launch! We will be releasing BodyPump 71, BodyCombat 46 and BodyFlow 41. Launch week is scheduled for Monday, October 12th – Saturday, October 17th.
